The architecture of these proposed discussion centers would combine contemporary fabrication techniques with local building traditions in a series of systems that would be flexible enough for each community to design and build its own center to suit its needs. This fourth system was the most rigid and mainly relied on the interlocking of wood components. The bamboo would held in bending both along the span and as a cross-grain for added support.
