The architecture of these proposed discussion centers would combine contemporary fabrication techniques with local building traditions in a series of systems that would be flexible enough for each community to design and build its own center to suit its needs. This third system utilized some interlocking plywood pieces for added strength. It could be skinned with a shingle system of fabric-resin composite material to allow for transparency where neded. Mullions and beams were incorporated into the system. Interwoven: An Architectural Proposal for Buddhism, Democracy, and Global Interconnectedness (2009) graduate school project; critic: Scott Marble
