STUDIO PROJECT
An Architectural Proposal for Buddhism, Democracy, and Global Interconnectedness This project imagined the architecture of such a network as a building system made for Bhutan's resources—wood and green bamboo—and building traditions, combined with contemporary fabrication techniques, that could be tailored to each region's needs. Shown here is one of the proposed building systems, in which bamboo and plywood are woven together. studio project for graduate school (2009); critic: Scott Marble
