Ice Paintings

PAINTING

15" x 15" pencil & ink on paper This is one in a series of eight paintings documenting frozen ink melting and dripping from an elastic pulley into eight paper cones over eight equal time intervals. The paintings serve as a register of the change in height from which the ice fell as its mass gradually decreased, marking the range and density of the spatter with this change in height. part of studio project for graduate school; critic: Mark Wasiuta See the entire series on the "Ice Paintings" post.
